When I was a little girl, I believed in fairy tales... that fantasy of what life would be. White dress, a prince charming who would carry me away to a castle on a hill. I would lie in bed at night and close my eyes and had complete and utter faith. Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, Prince Charming, they were so close I could taste them, but one day the fairy tale disappeared. It's hard to let go of that fairy tale entirely because we all have that smallest bit of hope, of faith, that one day we will open our eyes and it will come true. Then one day you realize that the fairy tale may be slightly different than you dreamed. The castle, well, it may not be a castle. This life, with all of its complexities, may be the fairy tale after all, because the journey is the best part. It's Happily Ever After...right now.

We've got a little writer on our hands!

A story by Grandgirl:

Once upon a time a little girl name Princess could possibly be banaged.  That means lost.  So she went to the Ball and wanted to see the Kingdom, but he was lost - carried away!  After that she went to the palace, where she had to dance.  The Kingdom said, "I want to see that princess!"  She felt very exterminated, because she couldn't go the the Ball.  So instead she went running to her mother.  Her step mother was very very very very mean.  Princess felt so tired and there was a storm with a tornado on the ground, girl!!

 She grabbed the tornado and put bubbles on it.  The tornado fell down and everybody was so scared!  Except, Princess didn't know where to go.  After that she went into the little kids' playhouse and it went round and round fast as it could.  There were lots of beast-es.  The Princess saved them.  

 Her dress was ruined, and her hair was wet.  She felt so badly.  Then she went home where her Shugie was.  She couldn't find her Shugie.  She was looking for everywhere.  She looked in her room and in the bathtub.  Shugie was under the bathtub and Princess saved her!

 They lived happily ever after.  With a rainbow.
